'Roadside Rest' 11x14" Print

11x14 inch enhanced matte paper poster print of 'Roadside Rest', an oil pastel piece that took me several seasons to finish. I was stuck in a frustrating creative gridlock after blocking out the initial shapes. I set this piece aside for about six months. On a feverish August day I was struck with a clear vision and I excitedly redid about 75% of the original artwork. I was left with this dreamy, colorful piece as my final product. It's my first official piece using oil pastels as a medium, and continues to be a symbol of risk-taking and exploration for me. Keep in mind the artwork has a slight margin on each edge.
